Click & Steer Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

The Click & Steer Collision Damage Waiver ("CDW") is an optional protection product offered by Click & Steer to limit a renter's financial responsibility for accidental damage to a vehicle booked through the Click & Steer platform.

CDW is a damage waiver, not an insurance policy.

When CDW is selected and paid for at checkout:

• The renter's maximum financial liability for accidental vehicle damage is limited to BBD $500 per booking.
• Click & Steer will pay any additional amounts owed to the vehicle operator, including insurance deductibles or repair costs, subject to the terms of this CDW and the rental agreement.
• This protection applies regardless of the operator's own insurance deductible or internal damage policies.

CDW applies to accidental physical damage to the rented vehicle, including but not limited to:

• Body damage
• Scratches, dents, or collision damage
• Damage caused by impact with another vehicle or object

Coverage applies only while the vehicle is being used in accordance with the applicable rental agreement.

CDW does not apply to damage or loss resulting from:

• Reckless or dangerous driving
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substance
• Use of the vehicle for racing, towing, or prohibited purposes
• Intentional or fraudulent damage
• Theft or loss of the vehicle
• Damage caused while the vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver
• Any use that violates the operator's rental agreement or local law

In these cases, the renter may be responsible for the full cost of loss or damage.

Click & Steer acts as the payment and claims administrator for CDW.

If damage occurs:

1. The vehicle operator will assess the damage and determine any applicable repair costs or insurance deductible.
2. Click & Steer will pay the operator directly for covered amounts.
3. The renter's responsibility will not exceed BBD $500 for covered damage.

Click & Steer may charge the renter's payment method for up to the BBD $500 liability cap if applicable.

Each vehicle operator maintains their own vehicle insurance and rental agreement. CDW does not replace or modify those policies.

Instead, CDW operates as a financial protection layer between the renter and the operator, limiting the renter's out-of-pocket exposure for covered damage.

• CDW is optional unless otherwise stated at checkout.
• CDW is not insurance.
• CDW applies only to the specific booking for which it was purchased.
• CDW fees are non-refundable once the rental begins.

CDW is governed by the Click & Steer Terms of Service and the applicable Operator rental agreement. In the event of conflict, the liability cap provided by CDW will apply to covered damage.
